Mulot Sim Swap Gang Leader Freed On Ksh.300K Bail

 David Mutai, the suspected brainchild of the Mulot Sim Swap fraud organization, was freed on a Ksh. 300,000 cash bail.

This follows Mutai's denial of fraud allegations brought against him before a Kiambu Court on Friday under the identity Hillary Langat Matindwet.

On December 30, 2022, Mulot was taken into custody in Kericho town after eight SIM cards were discovered in his possession.

Before being turned over to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for additional orders, he was questioned by local law enforcement officers.
